CALLING ALL YOUNG LEADERS OR ASPIRING YOUNG LEADERS

  1. Are you 14 – 18 years old?

  2. Are you an Explorer Scout?

  3. Are you a Young Leader?
    (you are helping in any Scout section?)

  4. Do you want to improve your job CV or University application?

If you answer YES to all four questions or YES to 1, 3 & 4, then you are required to get yourself some training.

If you wish to work as a Young Leader as the service part of you Duke of Edinburgh awards, the requirements are as follows

BRONZE

MODULE A plus 2 other MODULES
SILVER MODULE A plus 3 other MODULES
GOLD MODULE A plus 5 other MODULES

If you have started as a Young Leader already, you have to complete Module A within 3 months or you are not covered by Scout Insurance.

Most training will take place at CATVOG HQ, The Hub, Maitland St, Heath.

If you are an Explorer who wishes to help as a Young Leader, we can find a Group and Section that you can work with.
